Groovy Socks NEW Free Pattern

Remember when I told you that the best way to prove that I do not only design baby things, would be to design a sock, well here is the proof. The idea for the Groovy socks hit me like a train! I had just finished creating a new colorway for SockPixie , called La Vie en Rose, and was so in love with the colors, and the contrast that I knew I had to play the natural stripes in the yarn.
Grovvy socks have the coolest wavy chevron pattern. They are so easy to remember that Wendy would probably refer to them as commuter socks!

Thanks for the comment on my blog. I happened upon the Mini Sock Project by accident and I'm glad I found it.

I hope to be able to send some, or at least get more people to send some your way.

I cannot wait to order this yarn and start on this pattern. I have the Lavender garden and just cannot stop stroking it, it has become a little pet. I cannot wait to see what color combos and patterns you come up with next!

Dear Bethany,

Nice to hear from you. Thanks for your support. I am working on a pattern using the Wisteria colorway, and am almost done. So, check back soon.
As far as colors are concerned, I came up with a few more over the weekend. I am particularly fond of one of them, which I think will be called Egyptian Queen...

Happy Knitting,

Caroline

Dear Mimi,

The website seems to be working fine right now. I know the hosting service was doing maintenance at some point. That may be it.
Are you going to post pictures of your bags on your blog?

Quick question regarding the pattern. I love the pattern but there are 64 stitches that you cast on but when you do the round it ends up going to 63 stitches. Is there something that I am missing? Can you please help me to understand. This is a gorgeous pattern.

Dear Ana,

You go down from 64 to 63 stitches by knitting 2 together in the first row after the ribbing.

I made these socks ages ago and I really liked them. I'd like to make them again but unfortunately the link no longer works. Any possibility you can repost the pattern.
Thanks!
