It's off to Work!

First day of the year, and I am off to work on this week's new colorways.

Last night we went to my parents' house to celebrate the new year, and after dinner, as I was sipping some delicious Asti, I sat at the table looking through some of my parent's art books. As I sat there, slowly enjoying the wine, I started looking at a beautiful retrospective of Gustav Klimt's work. The paintings seemed to glow like the Asti in my crystal glass, the flowers like the embroidered tablecloth. I knew this would be this week's inspiration!Doesn't Klimt's Bluhender Garten make you dream?

I have started designing the colorways, and I have a new sock pattern in the works.

I can't wait to share all this with you!

What a beautiful picture. Your yarn will be beautiful as well I'm sure.
I want to thank you for the well wishes for my DH. It is greatly appreciated. He has a few more surgeries and a long road. Or should I say "we"? :)Thanks again.

Lovely picture and colors. Having just found your blog/shop, I'm sure the yarn will be just fantastic. Will soon come back to get myself some of your gorgeous yarn.
Thanks for loads and loads of inspiration.

The colors in Klimt's painting are fabulous-- I want to look at more...
The vivid colors will definitely translate well to your yarn... But I want some vivid yarns for my wool allergic skin and my scarves and baby hats.
Thanks for the motivation to expand my horizons and look to different places for motivation.
