Christmas Spirit

Tonight was a really special night. My youngest daughter and I decorated our Christmas Tree. That tree is very special. It is an old artificial tree, which we bought 13 years ago, in San Francisco. It was our first Christmas ever in the US. This tree is part of our life. It has seen the birth of three of our children. It has been with us through our joys, and struggles.
Once more, we will share Christmas with it, and for the occasion, we have decorated it with its most beautiful jewels.

Traditions are the best part of Christmas.

Merry Christmas, Sock Pixie!! I hope in the new year I have some money so I can actually buy some of your beautiful yarns and not just look at them (sigh). I wish you and yours the best!

I'm going to put a special request in for some Kwanzaa colors (red, black and green) and something for New Years-- the current colors are fabulous-- just wish you did some yarns in cottons and soy so I could wear them!

Best,

Mimi

Dear Mimi,

A Kwanza color will be up this weekend. As far as the non wool socks are concerned, I am always looking for and testing yarns to find alternatives to wool. As soon as I have a good candidate you can be sure that I will make it one of my base yarns.

Happy Kwanza, Mimi.
